Aliplast Running Team – the Oilers' Tenner Run & 2nd Polish Oilers' Championships

On 14 May, our ALIPLAST Running Team, took part in the Oilers' Tenner Run & 2nd Polish Oilers' Championships at the distance of 10 km in Nielisz.

The Management Board of the Polish Association of Oil Producers organised a sporting event called the Oiler's Tenner for the second time in Nielisz, at the Nielisz Reservoir. The previous edition of the run enjoyed a large turnout, with 261 people taking part, exceeding the estimated number of 250 participants. The route of the event led through blooming rape fields.  The objectives of the event are to promote running in the oil industry and to communicate the benefits of including rapeseed oil in the diet of the amateur athlete. The event is financed by the Oilseed Promotion Fund.

The yellow fields of flowering rape stretching to the horizon, the azure May sky, quiet forest paths, the finish line and a shared meal on the beach by the murmuring waters of the Nielisz reservoir were the main attractions of the event.  The route led along field and forest paths. Competitors had to reach the finish line in under 90 minutes.
