Energy with Aliplast – installation of photovoltaic panels

Ecology is one of the most important aspects of our business. We are committed to supporting our planet as much as we can, so we are investing in green energy – we have just purchased 50 kWp photovoltaic panels to be installed on the roof of the production hall.

Getting energy from the sun means lower emissions of carbon dioxide and, importantly, the sun is a remarkable source of energy – there is no shortage of the sun, regardless of the number of PV systems. The average emission index provided by the National Centre for Emissions Management (KOBiZE) is -758 kg CO2/MWh, which means that producing 1000 kWh of energy from the sun saves 758 kg of CO2 emissions. The Aliplast 50 kW system will generate 47.74 MWh/year, so 35,626 kg of CO2 will be saved for the benefit of the planet.

This system is just the beginning of a major project that has been included in our 2021-2025 Sustainable Development Strategy. More projects are ahead of us!
