MC FIRE system tested in full configuration (as a flat wall)

The MC FIRE mullion and transom wall was tested in full configuration (as a flat wall) in terms of fire resistance:

• EI30 (o -> i)
• EI30 (i -> o)
• EI60 (o -> i)
• EI60 (i -> o)

The document confirming the fire protection properties of the curtain wall according to PN-EN 13501-2:2016 “Fire classification of construction products and building elements – Part 2: Classification using data from fire resistance tests, excluding ventilation services” is ITB document No. 00893/24/R334NZP “Classification of fire resistance of the glazed façade of the MC-FIRE system”.

Fire testing has been carried out according to the following standards: PN-EN 1363-1:2012 “Fire resistance tests – Part 1: General requirements” / PN-EN 1364-3:2014 “Fire resistance tests for non-loadbearing elements – Part 3: Curtain walling – Full configuration (complete assembly)”.

Dimensions:
Maximum dimensions of glass panes

• horizontally: 3000 x 1500mm
• vertically: 1700 x 3000mm 

Possible infills:

• EI30, RETRE Antifire 22 fire glass, thickness 22mm, optional single and double glass unit to be installed.
• EI60, RETRE Antifire 28 fire glass, thickness 28mm, single and double glass unit to be installed.
